L. N. Mujing is a Congolese multidisciplinary artist and community arts facilitator born and based in Ottawa, Canada.

Working primarily in oil, acrylic and graphite, Mujing explores the dynamism of African peoples and their diasporas through environmental portraiture. Her practice examines bicultural identity, ancestral knowledge and cultural memory, drawing on Congolese cosmology, lineage and the intergenerational transmission of knowledge. Influenced by the ingenuity of her ancestors and elders, who cultivated beauty and meaning from natural materials, she brings reinterpreted ancestral techniques into dialogue with contemporary art methodologies. Her work seeks to honour the complexity of African heritage while exploring the relationships between people, nature and cultural continuity.
